Latest version of the Astra brings a touch of class to rival its opponents.
Vauxhall may have just got it right with the version 5 Astra. It offers a certain level of prestige due to cabin materials and an elegant design.
More on par than ever before with German rivals but still priced to compete with its French counterparts. The mk 5 brings style and value and has many variants available including the spritely 1.4 and 1.6 petrol engines. High performance diesel versions and sports models including 3 and 5 doors plus the estate make the Astra a well rounded an versatile car.
Beaten by the Golf on prestige status and Fords latest Focus is at the top of its game which could sway devoted Astra fans.
Overall a winner.
