You can use this form to find out the MOT history of a vehicle. You can check previous tests for:
• test dates
• odometer reading (mileage)
• details of any failure items
You can check the information from this request against a VT20 test certificate or VT30 refusal certificate to confirm that it’s authentic.
To use this service you will need the vehicle registration mark along with an MOT test number from one of the following:
• VT20 test certificate
• VT30 refusal certificate
or the document reference number from
• V5C registration certificate
